Film a 40 to 60-second video about how your restaurant is getting creative during COVID-19. Changed your seating? Switched up your menu? Tell us about it! (Don’t worry—a landscape video filmed on your phone works just fine!)
Get your video ready for upload—make sure you can hear yourself clearly, the camera isn’t too shaky, and that you’ve filmed in landscape mode. Once you’re happy with it, move on to step three!
With your video ready, you can take to the ‘gram! Post your video, and add a description with a few hashtags to spice things up. Make sure you tag @7shifts and use the hashtag #Open4Business to be entered!
Congrats, you’re done! All you need to do now is wait for the results—announced on August 24th.

No, only participants who live in and work in the US and Canada will be considered.
Your video should be 40 - 60 seconds long, as Instagram only supports videos up to 60 seconds. If you go a few seconds over, you can either edit the video or post two videos as a gallery on Instagram.
The contest submissions will be judged on the week of August 17th by a panel of 7shifties. We’ll be looking for creative ways your restaurant has adapted to the “new normal” and enthusiastic presentation.
Videos will only be disqualified if there is excessive profanity or inappropriate content.
We will be accepting video submissions posted on Instagram from July 20th - August 17th.
Submissions will only be counted if they’re posted on Instagram with a @7shifts tag and #Open4Business hashtag. You are still welcome to share your awesome video on any other channel, and feel free to tag us!
