These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the 7shifts Referral Program (the “Program”). By submitting a referral for a restaurant or otherwise participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and 7shifts Privacy Policy.
Program Eligibility
Referral Requirements
Subject to these Terms, for each “Qualified Referral” that meets the following criteria, you will receive the applicable referral reward listed below. A “Qualified Referral” is a restaurant that:
- is referred to 7shifts either through a unique trial sign up link, or in writing (email is acceptable) to an existing 7shifts employee; verbal referrals are unable to be verified and will not be accepted;
- is not an existing lead in the 7shifts system (7shifts reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the original lead source. Exceptions may be made, in 7shifts sole discretion, if the referral has not been contacted by 7shifts for at least six (6) months); and
- has entered into a Merchant Agreement Initial Order Form with 7shifts, and has been live, processing transactions on the 7shifts platform for at least sixty (60) days.
For clarity, a Referral is defined as a contact who has started a 7shifts trial. A Qualified Referral is defined as a Referral that converts to a paid 7shifts plan and remains active for a minimum of sixty (60) consecutive days. Starting a 7shifts trial alone does not constitute a Qualified Referral and is therefore not eligible for a referral reward or bonus.
Referral Reward
- A referral reward of a $100 Amazon gift card will be issued to 7shifts customers for each Qualified Referral that signs up for a paid 7shifts plan. All gift cards are issued in USD. Referral rewards will be issued to the individual referrer in the form of a Gusto gift card within ninety (90) days of the Qualified Referral signing up for a paid plan, and after they have been live, processing transactions on the 7shifts platform for at least sixty (60) consecutive days.
- There is no limit to the number of Referrals an individual can submit; however, the limit for eligible referral rewards for Qualified Referrals an individual can receive is a maximum of ten (10) per month while the Program is active.
- 7shifts will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a referral is a Qualified Referral eligible for a referral reward. (see Fall Referral Promo section for limited-time increased incentives).
Fall Referral Promo (September 29 – November 15, 2025)
For a limited time, the standard referral incentive of $100 per Qualified Referral is increased to $150 per Qualified Referral.
In addition, participants may earn the following promotional rewards during the Fall Referral Promo period:
- 3 Referrals: One (1) exclusive 7shifts hat (no Qualified Referrals required).
- 1 Qualified Referral: One (1) $150 Amazon or UberEats gift card.
- 5 Qualified Referrals: $750 in Amazon or UberEats gift cards plus one (1) pair of AirPods Pro 3.
The Fall Referral Promo ends on November 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. All promotional rewards are subject to the eligibility requirements, timelines, and issuance procedures set forth under the Terms. Referral rewards offered under this Promo are in lieu of, and not in addition to, the standard $100 referral reward.
Promo items such as exclusive 7shifts swag and AirPods Pro 3 are available while supplies last. 7shifts reserves the right to substitute rewards of equal or greater value.
Modifications
7shifts reserves the right to modify these Terms or terminate the Program at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice, however we will employ commercially reasonable efforts to post a notice on the referral website.
Fraud, Misuse, and Liability
7shifts reserves the right to investigate any referrals submitted through the Program and to withhold or revoke any referral rewards if fraudulent activity, abuse, or violation of these Terms is suspected. Fraudulent activity includes, but is not limited to:
- Submitting self-referrals or referrals for entities in which the referrer has an ownership or controlling interest.
- Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information to qualify a referral.
- Manipulating or attempting to circumvent Program eligibility requirements.
- Engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws, including anti-fraud and anti-bribery regulations.
If 7shifts determines, in its sole discretion, that a participant has engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, 7shifts may, without notice:
- Disqualify the referral(s) in question and withhold any associated rewards.
- Revoke your access entirely to 7shifts and all products
- Permanently bar the participant from future participation in the Program.
- Seek reimbursement for any improperly issued referral rewards through legal action, if necessary.
Participants acknowledge and agree that 7shifts shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the disqualification of a referral, the termination of Program participation, or any actions taken to address suspected fraud or misuse.
