What You Need to Know About 7shifts’ Plan Changes (Comp Plan)

Why is my plan changing?

  • We’re updating our plans to better align with how our features scale as your team grows.
  • As part of this update, we’re introducing a 15-employee limit on your current plan, effective January 15, 2026.
  • Your feature set will also be updated:
    • You will be able to access one-way announcements for critical team updates
    • You will no longer have access to team chat, hiring and engage tools, and 7punches.
  • This change helps us continue offering powerful scheduling tools at a fair price while ensuring businesses with larger teams are matched with the right level of support and features.

Will this affect how I use 7shifts?

  • There won’t be any changes to your existing team. Everyone currently on your account will remain active.
  • You will be able to access one-way announcements for critical team updates.
  • You will no longer have access to team chat, hiring and engage tools, and 7punches.
  • Starting January 15, 2026, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher plan if you’d like to add new employees beyond the 15-user limit.

Are there any additional limitations planned in the near future?

  • No further changes to your plan are currently planned. If, in the future, that changes, we’ll communicate these changes as early as possible.
