  • Tip Pooling and Tip Payouts are separate but complementary tip management features.

    Tip Pooling automatically calculates shared tips based on your restaurant’s unique contribution and distribution rules, saving you hours every week. The data is available for you to use in any way you want (like exporting to payroll or paying tips directly via Tip Payouts).

    Tip Payouts deposits earned tips into individual employees’ debit accounts—a direct transaction from your restaurant to your employees, no bank run required.

  • Your Tip Payouts funds are stored securely and safely for the benefit of your business with the Republic Bank of Chicago. The Republic Bank of Chicago is a trusted and secure financial establishment that insures your deposits up to $250,000 through the FDIC. 7shifts does not hold onto any funds in this process and only executes transactions with those funds on your instructions.

  • To be eligible for Tip Payouts:

    Your restaurant must operate in the USA
    Employees must have an eligible debit card
    Employees must use the 7shifts app to register account information
