Earning rewards through the 7shifts Referral Program couldn’t be easier. With just a few quick steps, you can help another restaurant discover 7shifts and get rewarded along the way. Here’s how:
- Get your unique link: Log in to your 7shifts app, click your profile image in the top-right corner, and select “Refer a Friend.”
- Share your link: Send it to a fellow restaurant operator and have them sign up for a free 14-day trial with 7shifts, using your link.
- Earn rewards: Sit back and relax. When your referral purchases a paid 7shifts plan (and stays active for 60 days), we’ll send you a $100 Amazon gift card (USD).

What’s the difference between a referral and a qualified referral?
Think of it this way: a referral is anyone who signs up for a free 7shifts trial using your link. A qualified referral is someone who takes the next step—becoming a paying customer and sticking with 7shifts for at least 60 days. Only those qualified referrals count toward your rewards (aka: the $100 USD Amazon gift card).
How is the 7shifts Customer Referral Program different from the Affiliate Program?
The 7shifts Customer Referral Program is just for existing 7shifts customers who want to recommend 7shifts to other restaurant operators in their network. For every qualified referral, you’ll earn a $100 USD Amazon gift card.
The 7shifts Affiliate Program, on the other hand, is open to content creators, influencers, and industry partners who promote 7shifts on their platforms. Instead of gift cards, affiliates earn commission-based payouts.
How many referrals can I make—and how many rewards can I earn?
There’s no cap on how many referrals you can send our way. That said, rewards are limited to 10 qualified referrals per month while the program is active—that’s up to $1,000 in gift cards every month!
Can I refer my own restaurant to earn rewards?
Nope—self-referrals don’t count. The referral program is designed to help spread the word about 7shifts to restaurants in your network. Referring your own business or locations you already manage isn’t eligible for rewards (as outlined in the program’s Terms & Conditions).
What if my referral signs up with a different email address?
No worries—as long as they use your unique referral link and code when signing up, you’ll still get credit for the referral.
Does starting a free trial count as a referral?
Not quite. Starting a free trial is just the first step. To qualify, your referral needs to become a paying 7shifts customer—and stay active for at least 60 days.
